Australian mining law

Australian mining law is a set of rules that make sure mining operations (companies that dig up minerals from the ground) in Australia are done in a safe and responsible way. It also helps make sure that mining companies don't hurt the environment while doing their work. Mining laws also make sure that people living near a mining operation get paid fairly for the minerals found on their land. Lastly, it also makes sure that mining operations are paying taxes to the government to help fund things like education, health care and other services in Australia.
