Automated fueling

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a gas station where you have to get out of the car and pump the gas yourself? Well, now some gas stations have something called automated fueling which means you don't even have to get out of the car!

Here's how it works: First, you pull up to a pump that has a screen and scanner attached to it. The screen will ask you to scan a card, usually a credit or debit card. Just like when Mom makes a purchase with her card at the store, you'll scan your card on the scanner at the pump.

Once your card is approved, the screen will ask you what kind of fuel you want. Your choices are usually regular, premium or diesel. You tell the screen which fuel you need and then you can start fueling your car.

You put the fuel nozzle into your car's gas tank and the fuel will start pumping automatically. You don't have to do anything else except wait until it's done. When the fuel is finished pumping, the pump will automatically stop and you'll hear a "click" sound. This means your car is full of fuel and you can take the nozzle out of your car's gas tank.

The amazing part is that you don't even have to go inside the gas station to pay! The screen at the pump will give you a receipt and you use that to show that you've paid. This means you can save time and don't have to wait in line inside the station to pay for your fuel.

So, kiddo, automated fueling is an easy way to fill up your car with gas without even getting out of your seat!
