Automotive oil recycling

Hey there kiddo! Do you know what happens to the oil in a car when it gets old and dirty? Well, it used to be that people would just throw it away, which was bad for the environment. So, now we have something called automotive oil recycling!

You see, when we recycle, we take the old and used things and turn them into something new again. And that's exactly what we do with used car oil!

First, we collect the old oil from all the different places where people change their oil in their cars, like at a car repair shop or a garage. Then, we take the oil to a special recycling plant.

The recycling plant is like a big machine that cleans the oil. It takes out all the dirt, metal pieces and chemicals that can harm the environment. Then, the oil is tested to make sure it is high-quality oil that can be used again.

Once the oil is clean and ready, it can be used again in other cars! That's right, we can take the old and used oil and turn it into new, fresh oil that can be used to keep cars running smoothly.

And the best part? By recycling used car oil, we're helping to protect the environment by keeping harmful chemicals from polluting the air and water. Pretty cool, huh?
