An avatar is a computer graphic or 3D model of a person, or animal. It is used in video games, on websites, and in virtual reality programs. It is like a person's picture or a symbol that represents them. You can customize your avatar to look just like you, or you can pick an animal or cartoon character as your avatar. Avatars help you to become someone else while you are playing games or visiting websites.
