Ayds

Ayds stands for "Appetite Suppressant Candy". It was a diet plan in the 1970s and 1980s where people would eat candy instead of regular food to try and lose weight. The candy was supposed to help people feel less hungry and make it easier to lose weight. Unfortunately, Ayds had the same name as a serious illness, AIDS, and people stopped buying the candy because they were afraid of it. Today, Ayds isn't available anymore.
