ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

BMDFM

BMDFM stands for Broadcasting Multiple Data Flow Multicast. It's a technique used to send data from one device to multiple devices simultaneously. It works by sending out a single data stream from one device, like a computer, and then have multiple other devices pick it up. This way, many different devices connected to the same network can receive the same data at the same time, instead of having to wait for each device to receive the data individually. This can be useful for streaming video, sharing files quickly, and other tasks where multiple people need to receive the same data.
