Babylonian law

Babylonian law is a set of rules and laws that were established in the ancient city of Babylon. These laws were written down on stone tablets by the Babylonian kings and other important people. These laws covered a wide range of topics, such as how people should treat each other, what rights each person had, and how their society worked. For example, Babylonian law said that if somebody stole something from you, you should bring them to court and the court would decide who was right. This is like the laws that we have now, but much simpler.
