Bahá'í marriage

When two Bahá'ís want to get married, they must follow some rules. The first thing they do is talk to a person called a Spiritual Assembly. This is a group of Bahá'ís who help them plan the wedding. They also help the couple learn about the importance of marriage according to the teachings of the Bahá'í Faith.

Before the wedding, the couple has to get a marriage license from the government. Then, they have a special ceremony in front of their family and friends. The ceremony is called the Bahá'í Marriage Vow. During the vow, the couple promises to be loyal and help each other grow spiritually. They also promise to always stay together and work out any problems they have.

One of the special things about Bahá'í marriage is that it is not just about the couple. It is also about their families and the community. Everyone is expected to be happy and supportive of the couple. When they get married, the couple is creating a new family that is connected to the bigger Bahá'í community.

In the Bahá'í Faith, divorce is very frowned upon. The couple is expected to work through any problems they have and stay together. If they do decide to get a divorce, they are encouraged to do it as peacefully and respectfully as possible.

Overall, Bahá'í marriage is all about love, loyalty, and spirituality. The couple is making a commitment to each other and to their community. They are building a strong and supportive family together that will last a lifetime.
