Ballet shoe

A ballet shoe is a special type of shoe that ballerinas wear when they dance. It's like a sock on the bottom and a shoe on the top. The bottom part is called a sole and is usually made of a very thin and flexible material so that the ballerina can feel the ground under their feet as they dance. The top part of the shoe is made of soft and stretchy material to keep the ballerina's foot snugly in place. When you see a ballerina dance, their feet might look like they're floating, but it's actually because of their ballet shoes!
