Balloon boy hoax

Okay kiddo, imagine a family who wants to become famous. They come up with an idea to pretend that their son floats away in a big balloon and gets lost in the sky. They call the news and tell them their son is in the balloon and the news gets really worried and starts following the balloon with helicopters.

After a while, the balloon lands and there's no boy inside. Everyone gets really scared and starts looking for the boy. But then the family says that their son was hiding in their house the whole time!

People get really upset and realize that the family was lying just to get famous. The family gets in trouble and it becomes known as the "balloon boy hoax."
