ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Balti people

Balti people are a group of people who live in a region called Baltistan, which is located near the Himalayan mountains in the northern part of Pakistan. These people have their own culture, language, and way of life that is different from the rest of Pakistan. They are very proud of their heritage and traditions and pass them down from generation to generation.

Think of it like this: you know how you have your own family with your own way of doing things and your own traditions? Well, the balti people have their own big family with their own way of doing things and traditions that are unique to them. They might speak a language that sounds different from what you're used to hearing, and they might wear clothes that look different from what you're used to seeing.

Even though they're part of Pakistan, they have their own way of living and their own way of looking at the world. They might eat different foods than you're used to, or they might celebrate holidays that you've never heard of before. But they're still people just like you and me, and we can learn a lot from their way of life.
