Baseball is a game that is played on a diamond-shaped field. There are two teams, one team in the field and one team batting. The team in the field tries to get the players on the batting team out by throwing the baseball to the players as they run around the diamond. The batting team tries to hit the ball and run around the diamond as many times as they can before the players in the field get them out. Whoever scores the most runs (going around the diamond before being tagged out) wins the game.
