Bashan
Bashan is a place mentioned in the Bible. It was a region in the Middle East that was known for being very fertile and having lots of grass for animals to eat. People who lived there had lots of cows, sheep, and other farm animals. The land was also good for growing crops like wheat and barley.
Back in those times, Bashan was ruled by a king named Og. He was very strong and his bed was said to be very long. The people who lived in Bashan were called Bashanites.
