Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio

The Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio is a big and fancy church located in the city of Milan, Italy. It was built a long, long time ago in the fourth century AD! It was named after a very important man named Saint Ambrose, who was a bishop and one of the early saints of the Christian church.

This basilica has a lot of cool things inside, like beautiful artwork, big arches and columns, and even mosaics (pictures made out of tiny tiles)! There are also some important relics, which are special objects that are related to Saint Ambrose, like his tomb and a piece of fabric from his robe.

People still go to the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio today to pray, sing, and worship. It is a very special and important place for Christians in Milan and around the world.
