Bat-Signal

You know how Batman is a superhero who fights bad guys and helps keep people safe? Well, sometimes when there's a really big problem or a really bad guy causing trouble in the city, the police who work with Batman will shine a special light called the "bat-signal" up in the sky. This light has a picture of a bat on it, which is Batman's symbol. When Batman sees this light shining in the sky, he knows that he's needed and he comes to help as quickly as he can. It's kind of like when you need your grown-up or your friend, you can call or text them. But because Batman doesn't use a phone, the bat-signal is his special way of being contacted and knowing he needs to help.
