Bath School disaster

On May 18, 1927, in a small town called Bath in Michigan, USA, a very tragic thing happened. A man named Andrew Kehoe made a bomb and put it in the basement of Bath Consolidated School, where lots of children went to learn every day. The explosion was very big and caused a lot of damage. The school was destroyed, and many, many children and teachers were hurt or killed.

Andrew Kehoe had planned this terrible event for a long time because he was very angry about taxes. He was upset that he had to pay money to the school, and he wanted to teach people a lesson. He even set fire to his own farm and killed his wife just before the bomb exploded at the school.

It was a very sad day for Bath, and many people were heartbroken. The Bath School Disaster is still remembered today as one of the worst incidents in American history. We must always remember to be kind to others and never hurt anyone, no matter how angry we may feel.
