Once upon a time, long long ago in a place called Georgia, there was a big, big fight called the Battle of Akhaltsikhe. It was like a game of tag, but instead of playing outside, two big groups of people were playing with swords and guns.
One group was called the Ottoman Empire and the other group was called the Kingdom of Kartli. They both wanted to be the best and win the game.
The Ottoman Empire group had lots and lots of people, like a big army. They were very, very strong like the superheroes you watch on TV. They came from a faraway place called Turkey and they wanted to take over the Kingdom of Kartli's land.
The Kingdom of Kartli group was the smaller team, but they were very, very smart and clever. They knew the land better than the Ottoman Empire group, because it was their home. They knew how to move around without being seen, like playing hide and seek.
During the battle, the Kingdom of Kartli group used their knowledge of the land to trick the Ottoman Empire group into thinking they were weak and not ready for the fight. But the Kingdom of Kartli group was actually ready and waiting for the Ottoman Empire group to be fooled.
When the Ottoman Empire group came closer, the Kingdom of Kartli group attacked with full force, just like you would jump out and tag someone when they don't expect it. They used their swords and guns to fight and defend their land.
After a long and hard fight, the Kingdom of Kartli group won the battle. They were very happy and proud of themselves, because they managed to defend their home against a very strong enemy.
And that's the story of the Battle of Akhaltsikhe, where the Kingdom of Kartli group used their wit and knowledge of the land to defeat the Ottoman Empire group and defend their home.
