Battle of Tondibi
Okay, so a long time ago in Africa, there were different groups of people who had their own leaders and territories. One group was called the Songhai Empire and they were very powerful. They had a big army and controlled lots of land.
But then another group called the Moroccan Empire wanted to take over the Songhai Empire. They also had a big army but they were from a different place and had different weapons.
So the two armies met in a big fight called the Battle of Tondibi. It was like a big game of tag but with weapons. The Songhai Empire tried their best to protect their land and fought really hard. But the Moroccan Empire had better weapons and were better organized.
