Beall's List

Beall's List is a special list that tells people which universities they should not trust when they are trying to find the best information on the internet.

You know how you ask your parents or teacher where to find the best answers to your questions? Grown-ups do the same thing when they need to find the best information to write papers or do work for their job. When they search online, they might find information on a website that looks like it has great information, but really it is not trustworthy.

Beall's List is like a secret tool that grown-ups can use to make sure they are getting the best information. It is called Beall's List because a man named Jeffrey Beall created it. He was very clever and worked very hard to make sure that the websites on his list were not trustworthy.

If a website is on Beall's List, it means that the website is not telling the truth or might be trying to trick people. It is a good idea to stay away from these websites and not use the information they have. It is much better to use websites that are not on Beall's List because they are more likely to be trustworthy and have the right information.
