Beehive (beekeeping)

Okay, so imagine there is a big, fancy house where a lot of bees live called a beehive. The bees inside the beehive work really hard to make honey, which is their food. The queen bee is like the boss of the hive and all the other bees listen to her.

Some people like to take care of beehives and this is called beekeeping. Beekeepers wear special clothing to protect themselves from getting stung by the bees. They also have special tools, like a smoker which makes the bees calm and sleepy.

Beekeepers sometimes take some of the honey that the bees made, but they always make sure to leave enough honey for the bees to eat for themselves. They also check on the bees to make sure they are doing okay and have enough space to live.

So, in summary, a beehive is like a big house where bees live and make honey, and beekeeping is taking care of the bees and their home while making sure they have enough food and space.
