ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Behavioral modeling

Behavioral modeling is a way of understanding how people learn and what causes people to do certain things. It is based on the idea that learning happens by watching and doing, so if a person sees or experiences something they are likely to do something similar. This means that if someone is around people who are calm and kind, they are likely to be the same way. Similarly, if someone is around people who are rude and mean, they are likely to act in a rude or mean way. Behavioral modeling is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together to understand why people act the way they do.
