Behavioral urbanism

Behavioral urbanism is about understanding the behaviors of people who live in cities and how those behaviors shape the cities. It looks at how people move through a city, what kind of things they do, how they use the spaces, and how people interact with each other in various places. This helps us figure out how to build cities that are better for people—safer, healthier, and more enjoyable to live in.
