Beige box

So, you know how a lot of electronics come in different colors like black, white, or even pink? Well, sometimes there are machines that don't come in a fancy color, they are just plain beige. Imagine a big square box, like a computer or a printer, but instead of looking cool and colorful, it's just plain beige like the color of sand.

This plain beige box is called a "beige box". They were really popular in the 90s and early 2000s because they were affordable to make, and people didn't really care so much about what they looked like. They were just happy to have a machine that did what they needed it to do.

So, although beige boxes aren't as popular now, some people still use them because they are reliable and get the job done. Plus, they kind of have a retro feel to them, like an old school video game console.
