Benjamin Henry Latrobe
Benjamin Henry Latrobe was a man who lived a long time ago and was very good at designing buildings. He made a lot of important buildings in America, like the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. and the Baltimore Basilica.
Just like how you draw pictures or build with blocks, Mr. Latrobe used his imagination and special skills to create really cool buildings that people can use. But he didn't just make them look pretty; he also made sure they were safe and that people inside could be comfortable.
