Bernard Kerik

Bernard Kerik is a man who used to work for the government in New York City. He was in charge of the police department and was even nominated by the President to be the head of a really big department called Homeland Security.

But, Bernard Kerik made some mistakes and he did some things that were against the rules. He wasn't very honest about his actions, and he got in trouble. He had to go to court and was eventually sent to jail.

This shows how even big people who have important jobs can do bad things and get in trouble. It's important to always follow the rules and be honest.
