Beta distribution

A beta distribution is a type of probability distribution. A probability distribution is like a graph, except instead of showing numbers like height or weight, it shows the chances of something happening. In the case of a beta distribution, it shows the chances of something happening between two possible outcomes in a range of numbers. For example, you might use a beta distribution to show the chance of getting either a 0 or a 1 as the answer to a math problem, and it could show that you have a 40% chance of getting a 1 and a 60% chance of getting a 0.
