Bhagavat of Sankardev

Bhagavat of Sankardev refers to the important scripture that was written by the great saint, scholar, and social reformer of Assam named Srimanta Sankardev.

Now, just like we have books that teach us about our religion and beliefs, Sankardev also wrote one such book called the Bhagavat. This book talks about the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, who is an important figure in Hinduism.

Sankardev believed that reading and understanding the Bhagavat would help people be more spiritually awakened and closer to God. He wrote it in the Assamese language so that people in his region could easily read and understand it.

The Bhagavat of Sankardev became very popular in Assam, and even today, it is read and followed by many people. It has helped people become more pious and kind-hearted, just like Lord Krishna, and spread love and harmony in the world.

In short, the Bhagavat of Sankardev is a special book written by a wise and compassionate saint who wanted to help people become better individuals and find peace in their lives.
