Biafra

Biafra is a word people use to talk about a place in Africa. It is a region in the southeastern part of Nigeria that wants to be its own country. People who want Biafra to be a separate country believe that their culture and way of life is different from the rest of Nigeria.

In the late 1960s, there was a war between the Nigerian government and Biafra. This war lasted for three years, and many people died because of it. The Nigerian government believed that Biafra should be a part of Nigeria, but the people of Biafra thought differently.

Even though the war ended a long time ago, people still talk about Biafra today. Some people believe that Biafra should be its own country, while others believe that it should still be a part of Nigeria. It is a topic that is still being discussed by many people in Nigeria and around the world.
