Biblical hermeneutics

Biblical hermeneutics is how we understand and interpret the Bible. The Bible is an old book and some of the words might not mean what we think they mean or what we want them to mean. That's why we use hermeneutics- it helps us understand what the Bible says and means. We might use historical sources, things other people have written about the Bible, or even look at how people from different cultures or different times understood the Bible. In other words, hermeneutics helps us understand the Bible better.
