ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Biblical mile

A biblical mile is a unit of measurement used in the Bible to describe distances. Basically, it's like a big ruler that helps people know how far away things are from each other. Think of a ruler you use in school to measure things with, but BIGGER!

A biblical mile is longer than a regular mile we use today. It's about 1.5 times bigger! That means if you have to walk a biblical mile, you have to walk farther than if you were walking a regular mile.

In the Bible, distances were often measured in these biblical miles. When someone would say that something was a certain number of miles away, they were talking about the biblical mile. It helped them know how far they had to travel to get to a certain place.

So, a biblical mile is basically just a bigger measurement of distance used a long time ago. It helped people know how far they had to walk or travel to get to places.
