Bicycle lighting

Okay kiddo, let's talk about bicycle lighting!

Have you ever seen a bicycle with lights on it when it gets dark outside? Those lights are important to help the rider see where they're going and also to make sure other people can see them too, so everyone stays safe.

Bicycle lights usually come in two colors, white and red. The white light is on the front of the bike and the red one is on the back. This is so people can easily tell which way the bike is going, and so they don't get confused and think the rider is coming towards them when they're really going the other way.

The lights can be attached to the bike in a few different ways. Some lights clip onto the handlebars or frame of the bike, while others attach onto the rider's helmet or clothing.

Now, let's talk about how the lights actually work. Usually they run on batteries, which means they need to be changed or recharged every once in a while. Some newer lights are rechargeable with a USB cord, which is pretty cool.

Another important thing to know is that some bicycle lights have different settings. There might be a steady light, which means it stays on all the time, or a blinking light, which flashes on and off. Some lights even have different brightness levels.

Overall, bicycle lights are really important for staying safe while riding in the dark. So if you ever ride a bike at night, make sure you have some lights on it!
