ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Big data ethics

Big Data Ethics is about making sure that people's data is used responsibly. It means that when data is collected from people, it is done in a way that respects their privacy and makes sure that their data is kept safe and secure, and not shared with anyone they don't want it to be shared with. It also means that companies use data in a way that is fair and ethical, not taking advantage of the data to try to manipulate people or make unfair decisions.
