Bill Anders

Ok kiddo, let me tell you about Bill Anders. He is a very smart and important person who did something really cool a long time ago. Do you know what a spaceship is? Yes, just like in the movies! Well, Bill Anders went on a spacecraft called Apollo 8 with two of his friends. They were the first people to orbit (go around) the moon! They took pictures of the moon and sent them back to Earth so everyone could see what it looked like up close. People had never seen anything like it before. Bill Anders was one of the first people to explore the moon and we still remember him and what he did today.
