ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bill Jenkins (epidemiologist)

Bill Jenkins was a person who was really good at understanding how diseases spread from one person to another. He studied these things so he could help us prevent people from getting sick.

Think about it like this: let's say we have a bunch of kids playing together, and one of them has a cold. If that kid sneezes or coughs, their germs can spread to the other kids and make them sick too.

Bill Jenkins learned how to track these germs and figure out where they came from, so we can stop them from spreading. That way, fewer people get sick and everyone stays healthier!
