Biomass

Biomass is a form of energy that comes from things that were once alive, like plants and animals. People use biomass to produce a type of energy called biofuel, which is a fuel made from things that used to be alive. Biofuel can be used to power cars, trucks and even airplanes. Biomass is also used to make a type of electricity called biopower.
