Bioresorbable stent

Okay kiddo, so sometimes our blood vessels can get narrow or blocked. A stent is like a tiny straw that can help keep the blood vessel open and let the blood flow through.

But regular stents are permanent, which means they stay in your body forever. Now imagine if you had a straw in your body that you couldn't take out, that wouldn't be very comfortable, right?

That's where bioresorbable stents come in. They are stents that are made of a special material that can dissolve over time. That means they will gradually disappear on their own, kinda like how ice cubes melt when they get warm.

So once your blood vessel heals and opens up on its own, the bioresorbable stent will disappear and your body won't have any foreign objects in it.

It's like having a little helper, but only for as long as you need it, and then they go away and your body goes back to normal. Cool, huh?
