Biosurfactant

Biosurfactants are special chemicals made by living things, like bacteria and fungi, that can reduce the surface tension of liquids, like water. That makes it easier for two things that don't usually mix, like oil and water, to mix together and stick to each other. Biosurfactants are used in lots of different ways to help us, like cleaning up oil spills or getting rid of harmful bacteria.
