Bisaya (genus)

So, imagine there are many different kinds of fruits like apples, oranges, bananas, and strawberries. Bisaya is kind of like a big family of fruits, but instead of talking about apples and oranges, we're talking about a group of fish.

Bisaya is the name given to a group of fish who are similar in some way. Just like you might have cousins who all have curly hair or freckles, these fish are all related in some way. They have certain features that they share, like their shape or the way they swim.

But even though they're all in the bisaya family, they're not exactly the same. Just like your cousins might have different eye colors or heights, these fish might have different colors or markings. Some might be bigger than others, or have different shaped fins.

Scientists study the bisaya family to learn more about these different fish and how they're related. By understanding the similarities and differences between them, they can better understand how different species of fish evolved over time.

So, just like how you have family members who are similar but still unique, the bisaya family of fish is a big group that has lots of different members who all have something in common.
