Biscione

Hello there little one! Today we are going to talk about "biscione". Biscione is a symbol that comes from a place called Milan, which is in Italy.

Imagine you draw a picture of a snake that curls up, almost like the shape of a pretzel. This is what Biscione looks like! In Milan, people use Biscione as a symbol for their city.

Now, this snake has some special features. First, the snake has big, scary, red eyes to show that it is powerful and a bit scary. But don't worry, it's just a picture and can't hurt you!

Second, in the mouth of the snake, there is a picture of a child or a man, being swallowed by the snake. This might seem like a creepy thing, but it actually means something very important.

You see, a long time ago, there were two powerful families in Milan called the Visconti and the Sforza families. They were always fighting and trying to be more powerful than the other. But one day, they decided to stop fighting and make peace.

To symbolize their new friendship, they made Biscione. The child or man being swallowed by the snake is a symbol of the old families being "swallowed" by the new family of peace and cooperation.

So there you have it, little one. Biscione is a symbol from Milan that represents peace and cooperation between powerful families. But don't be scared of the snake, it's just a drawing!
