Bitola inscription

The Bitola Inscription is kind of like a really old message that was written in a special language a long time ago. A long, long time ago, people used to speak and write in different languages and scripts. The Bitola Inscription in particular, was written in a language called Greek, about 1,500 years ago. It's kind of like how we type messages on our phones or computers today, but the people back then used a special tool called a chisel to carve the letters into a big rock.

This inscription was written by an important person named Flavius Justinianus, who was a big leader in a part of the world we now call Macedonia. He wanted to let people know that he had done something really important, like building something or winning a big battle. And so, he decided to carve his message into a big rock that people could come and read whenever they wanted to.

The Bitola Inscription is really special because it helps us understand more about the history and culture of that time. It's kind of like going back in time to see a snapshot of what life was like then. People can still go and see the inscription today, and marvel at how well it has lasted for all these years.
