So imagine that a long time ago, people lived in a place called Blaauboschkraal. They made their homes out of a special kind of rock called stone. But over time, something happened and they had to leave their homes behind.
Now, when we go to visit Blaauboschkraal, we can only see the ruins of the stone homes that used to be there. It's like looking at a bunch of broken toys or puzzle pieces that used to make up a big picture.
But even though the stone homes are broken and scattered around, they can still tell us something about the people who used to live there. Archaeologists (that's a fancy word for people who study old things) can look at these ruins and learn about how the people lived and what kinds of things they did. It's like reading a storybook, but with rocks instead of words!
So even though we can't visit the people of Blaauboschkraal anymore, their stone ruins help us imagine what their lives might have been like a long time ago.
