Black Panther Party

The Black Panther Party was a group of people, mostly African-American, who wanted to make sure that Black people had the same rights as White people. They wanted to make sure that African-Americans had the chance to get better jobs and education, and live peacefully in their communities. They also worked to make sure Black people were treated fairly in the court system and to make sure that the police did not abuse their power when it came to African-Americans. The Black Panther Party strongly believed in standing up for their beliefs, even if it meant going to jail or putting themselves in danger. The Black Panther Party wanted all African-Americans to have the same rights that White people had.
