Black Sabbath

The band started a long time ago, in the late 60s, when four friends who loved making music decided to start a band together. They were called Black Sabbath because they thought it sounded cool and kind of like a scary movie. The four friends were Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.

When they started playing shows, people loved the sound they made. They used loud guitars, thumping drums, and Ozzy's powerful voice to create music that was really different from what anyone else was doing. People started calling it heavy metal, and before long, Black Sabbath was one of the biggest bands in the world.
