Black matriarchy

Black matriarchy is a way of organizing a family or a group of people where the most important jobs and decisions are taken care of by black women. This means that the women have the power to make decisions, set rules and generally lead the group. Sometimes this means that the women make decisions on behalf of the family or group and they form a supportive and protective circle to take care of each other's needs. Black matriarchy is a way of celebrating and protecting the unique strengths that black women bring to the world!
