Mormonism is a religion that was started in the 1800s in the United States. Mormons believe in Jesus and the Bible, but they have some different beliefs than other Christian religions. Black people are people who have dark skin, usually from Africa or other parts of the world. Mormonism used to not allow black people to be part of their religion, but this changed in 1978. Now, anyone can be part of Mormonism, no matter what their skin color.
