Bob Feller Act of Valor Award

The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award is a special award to recognize volunteers who go above and beyond in their community service. Each year, these outstanding people are chosen for their selfless commitment to helping others. They do things such as bringing food and supplies to those in need, helping elderly or disabled people with basic tasks, visiting and comforting those who are ill, and promoting awareness of a social issue. The award is named after the famous pitcher, Bob Feller, who served in the US Navy during World War II and inspired others to serve their country. The award is given to someone who embodies Bob's spirit of service and courage.
