Body language is how people show their feelings by the way their body looks. For example, when you’re happy, you might smile or have open and relaxed arms. When you’re mad, you might frown or cross your arms. Even your posture can also show how you’re feeling. If you’re confident, you’ll probably stand up straight with your head held high. If you’re shy, you might hunch your shoulders a bit and look down. Body language can even be used to tell if someone is lying. If someone looks away or won’t make eye contact, they might be hiding something. People can use body language to understand how someone else is feeling without them having to say anything.
