ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Boeing Everett Factory

The Boeing Everett Factory is a really big building where airplanes are made. Do you remember the toy planes you play with? Imagine if those toy planes were really big and could fly with people inside them. That's what the planes are like that are made in the Boeing Everett Factory.

Now, this building is sooo big, it's like a giant castle that you can get lost in! It has more than 4 million square feet of space, which means you could fit more than 75 football fields inside it! That's huge!

The workers in the factory use big machines and tools to put the planes together. They start with just a bunch of metal pieces and they put them together bit by bit until they make a huge airplane. They make sure everything is working properly, like the engines, the wings, and the cockpit where the pilots sit.

When the plane is ready to go, they test it out to make sure it's safe and will work properly. Only after they've checked and double-checked everything do they let people fly in the airplane!

So you see, the Boeing Everett Factory is like a really big castle where airplanes come to life, and it's where the magic of flying begins!
