Bolivia–Paraguay relations

Bolivia is a country in South America and Paraguay is a neighboring country. Bolivia and Paraguay have been friends for a really long time, but they had some problems in the past.

One of the biggest things they disagreed on was land. You know how you have your own bedroom in your house? Well, imagine if your neighbor said that your bedroom was really his and he wanted to take it. That's kind of what happened with Bolivia and Paraguay. They both wanted control over a piece of land that was in between their countries called the Chaco.

This disagreement turned into a big fight called the Chaco War. It wasn't a fun fight, and a lot of people got hurt. But eventually, Paraguay won and got to keep the land. Bolivia was pretty upset about this, but they eventually made peace and became friends again.

Nowadays, Bolivia and Paraguay are pretty good neighbors. They trade goods with each other and have friendly relations. Sometimes they even play soccer games against each other! They might have had some disagreements in the past, but they're working hard to be good friends now.
