ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Book of Jasher (biblical references)

Okay, so the Book of Jasher is a book that people think might have been around during the time of the Bible, but it wasn't included in the Bible we have today. It's like a really old storybook that tells stories about people from the Bible.

It's kind of like if you had a book with lots of stories about your favorite superheroes, but some of the stories weren't official and didn't happen in the movies or TV shows you watch.

The Book of Jasher has stories about people like Noah, Abraham, and Moses, but there's no way to really know if the stories are true or not. Some people think they're just made up, while others believe they might be based on real events.

So, while the Book of Jasher isn't considered part of the Bible, some people still like to read it to learn more about the people and stories from that time. But remember, just because it's an old book doesn't mean everything in it is true!
